Qualifying and Play-Offs

To qualify for the play-offs, golf players would have to finish the normal season in the top 125 on the FedEx Cup table after the Wyndham Championship. It is important to note that if there are players tied for 125th then they will make into the tournament.

It is important to remember that players that make it into the first playoff don’t necessarily mean they are qualified for all of them. The top 70 players at the end of the Northern Trust tournament will qualify for the BMW Championship.

To make into the 3rd and final event, players would have to be in the top 30 at the end of the Tour Championship.

What Do FedEx Winners Get?

The Fed-Ex Cup is very lucrative with the winner that is securing a massive $15 million in cash. Not only that, but they will also have a 5-year exemption from qualifying to be on the PGA Tour.
